A 4-spread album of vintage photos of the Baguio of a bygone era is included in The Baguio city YEARBOOK 2008. Here is just one of the photos from the yearbook.
This is the area below the Home Sweet Home compound, a portion of Gov. Pack Road, the road going to BGH from downtown, where the new flyover reigns supreme. The shot was probably taken from the general area of the present Starwood Hotel, along Kisad Road.

Copies are available at CID bookstores, Jet Bookstore, Mio's Magazine Stand at SM Baguio,Masferre and all leading hotels and souvenir shops in Baguio. This is a collector's item so grab one while still available.

I like all these old Baguio photos.But this image reminds me of one B&W image I took right after the great earthquake of 1990--of the carve in the road (Marcos Hiway) from Asin woodcarving village vantagepoint, I remember.
