VERTICAL GARDENS

Here's an idea for gardening in a small space: go vertical!

Patrick Blanc appears to be a pioneer in the field:

What if Baguio's seedy Magsaysay Rd. and historic Session Road are transformed into something like these...WOW! That would be the day... There is hope for Baguio, perhaps.

Nice find, Ibaloi Boy.

what a great environmental idea. if each high-rise building had one... they'd be carbon sinks

Great looking and lovely to look wall gardens. (?) Scary to live in one if residential I may say.Don't know what lurch beneath the moss & ivy foliage and invade the house...Can imagine next to the window washers, the true green insecticide treatment comes next..(can imagine 3 mex hanging on rope deadheading...) hehehe! TFS

The downside maybe, but can't this be resolved by going organic? Better to live with this than all the ugliness of the concrete jungle suffocating all of us by now.
