for everyone
Located near the boundary of Benguet with Nueva Vizcaya, the Salinas Salt Springs were a source of amazement for the Americans when they arrived at the turn of the century. It was also the source of the salt needs of our forefathers from far and wide.

Is it still there? I mean the place may not be producing salt anymore but is the physical location vacant or did people build in the area?

Hi juliet, hows romeo? Someone told me that the salt springs were affected by the July 16, 1990 earthquake. They said that the exhaust of the springs tranferred to another site a few hundred meters away, and the old site became foul smelling, like sulfur, after the earthquake.
