| Manong, this is really an interesting Guidebook. Do you have any articles or compilation of the vanishing art of Tribal Tattoos from the different tribes? Tattoos fascinate me and I am really interested in Tribal Tattoos. I have an armband taken from a Tapis from Kalinga... I was hoping I could find an authentic compilation of Tribal Tattoos (mainly Cordillera)... The compilation can also be good for educating kids most especially here in America... goal is mainly to expand the knowledge and ease the curiosity of our younger generation who spent most of their childhood here in the states. | Hi! Baguio photographer David Leprozo, Jr. (a.k.a. David Chan) has a few pictures of Kalinga's tattooing tradition in his Multiply site. He is in the network of Natz Navarro. Another professor at UP Baguio, her name is Ikin, has also done academic studies on the subject matter. I am not sure if they are now available in book form though. |

| Do you have Mr. David Leprozo, Jr. multiply site? I apologize Manong because I haven't really settled in Baguio since after highschool (agsubli subli lang piman) but then again I am always active with our Kailyans here in San Diego, LA, and Seattle. Although, if anyone wants to know - Benny Sukong has been coming to America and other countries to educate people on the different music from the Cordilleras including Jun Abul his student who is now residing in Texas. Benny Sulong was and maybe still teaching in UP Diliman about Cordillera Music, Musical Instruments, and Dances. I was fortunate enough to have a little tutorage from his expertise. Please keep in touch, and if you don't mind I would be interested to meet the people you mentioned on my next return to Baguio... |

Yes Joseph, Enrique is a relative. His lolo, Donato Cariño, the first president of the Benguet State University, is a brother of my lolo, Dr. Jose Maria Cariño. He is in the US. Enrique's sister, Zita, is the owner of the famous Phases Learning School of Baguio. |

 | Amazing photos. I was looking for updates about Joe Cawiding when I stumbled on your site. I went through all pictures. Thanks for sharing your family pics. I saw Jill, she was with WWP while I was at MCDC long time ago. She stood behind me on my wedding day. It was also nice to see Judy and kids. I never met you but I did know Jill had a twin brother. All the while I thought that Aya was Jill's daughter. Sometimes I see them in the office and NGO gatherings together with Jill's son, I forgot his name. Did I miss to catch a glimpse of him on all those pics. I also remember Maya, she volunteered with MCDC before. Please extend my regards to Jill and Judy. I do appreciate all your works and your big family. May your tribe increase. Good Health to everyone.

| per business establishment a receipt of trees planted as per taxation period...make it mandatory and not the school kids doing the yardwork please. Err...do we still have space for planting trees though or is Baguio totally concretized for buildings and roads?
